Starting to fix up my baby, I've always figured I will need to buy a new door and fender. Anything I can do for this?

Also anyone know of good books or articles on body work to include bondo and sanding?

As you can see it is pretty bad

Looks like it's been bondo'd before my friend...since those parts are so readily available with little to no rust in almost any jy ( in my area anyway ) I suggest new.a

Second gen parts are everywhere. you'll be able to find some cheap sheet metal parts in the aftermarket. Dont try to fix what someone else has fixed before. plus the door shell is probably tweaked and you'll never staighten that..

Regretfully i already was thinking that. Finding parts in the junk yard here in wichita falls is like dumpster diving. Everyonce in a while you find some left over half ate non moldy steak, most of the time not. Youd think most gen two rangers are still on the road or something... oh wait...
