This is on a 2005 Ranger 4x4. Crank the torsion bars all the way and it should work right? I've already got 265/75/16's on there and it looks like theres still a little room. Anyone been able to do this stock?

They will fit, but you will have rubbing issues if you turn too sharp or when you flex...

What SVT said. I did it for a little while before my body lift went on and had to do minor trimming with cranked t-bars. You do not need to max them out though.

I had 33's on my ranger stock with no crank or anything and they fit with no rubbing but I cannot say about the flex as I only tested them in the shop. I also have the stepside bed which doesn't have the plastic fender flares which helps a bit too.

With a tbar crank and everything else stock it will rub a little unless you go with a 33x10.5.

Yea thats what I was thinking about. Going to a 33x12.5x16 would fit but I could see that width being easy for rubbing everything. But going to something like a 285/75/16 could fit easier cause its just over 11 inches wide and the tires I have now are 10.5 inches wide. Its real close but I just wanted to see if you guys on here had done anything like it.

wheel spacers are death on wheels, not to mention in my experience they make tires rub worse because it is like having a wider tires so they rub on the corners of the fenders.

I see your point on that. Im just gonna try the 285's on my next set and go from there. Thanks dudes!

Any pics of 33's or something close and stock out there???

33x10.5's are becoming more available and dont look as bad as people say they do. i personally like them and will be buying a set of 33x10.5 bfg a/ts when mine die. they would be a good solution. google some pics. you should find some

Yea they look just fine. He needs to crank it up more on the drivers side though. Its a saggin pretty good. 285/75/16's are 11.2 inches wide not 10.5inches. I think those tires will fit just fine on there.
