First truck!

Hullo TRS! My name is Jeremy & I'm from Tennessee. Yesterday mornin' I bought a 1990 2WD Ranger XLT for $650. It's my car/truck! It's a 5spd and it's got the 2.9L. No pictars yet but they're comin' soon. It has a few electrical issues me and my Dad are tryin' to work out(we think they might be caused by the EEC seeing as how it's half covered in white fuzzy corrosion and it drains the battery(it's got an isolator switch to keep it from doing so when I'm not driving it)). But for now it drives me to and from werk. Which is all I need it to do for the next week or so until we get it all fixed up.

Welcome! Whatever you do with the truck take lots of pics! If you're in the eastern half of your state i'd suggest looking into going 4x4.

I will make sure to take alot of pics, I made the mistake of not taking pics of the damage we fixed from the previous owner hitting some sort of animal we're guessing. Wasn't bad though, just had to beat out the fender some and do some super gluing of the light bezel(until I can buy a new one..)and some of little things. I am from the eastern part of TN, I live up on the plateau. But I will probably just save my money and buy a 4x4 ranger/bronco, seeing as how the ranger has to be up and running since it's now my DD and doing a 4x4 swap sure does seem like alot work. I'm sure I could do some light wheeling with it though
