Finally got the ranger all back together after wrecking a bunch of crap back in August. Was a good run...hit one of our older trails that has changed a lot over the years...winter and the spring thaws are hard on it and it is constantly changing/sluffing. It's always good for a challenging day of wheeling. I grenaded my right front hub, dented in my drivers door and toasted an axle U joint.

Here's some shots from the day:

Trying to chew up the first loose climb at the beginning of the trail. No body made it without winching.

My grenaded hub..

Jacked it up and swapped the hub out on the trail and carried on.

Big rock that fell down the mountain and landed on the trail...right in the middle.

Up on it...

Now we're on it...

And the ground all around it is super soft....no traction....now we're stuck

Winch time....thank god for good rock sliders

And back into the washout trenches

And the exit...over the cliff and we're out

Looks like a great time! Awesome looking trails!

That trail looks rad! After getting it all together ya bust it, huh? Name of the game I suppose.

Yea it's all part of the fun.....first hub I've popped to date...not bad for 5 years of wheeling it on 35" plus tires. When I heard the bang I thought for sure it was axle shaft.....I'm glad tho, a hub is an easy trail swap. I've got 4 more spares on the truck.

Its one of our toughest trails...it changes every year because there is constant water run off going down the entire trail. Start to finish it takes about 4 4 1/2 hours plus the drive back to town. The trail is roughly 20k long I would say.

Holy smokes, that's a looooong trail. We have one here that is probably 60 KM long, but is not nearly as challenging. I'd like to be able to try something that long and that challenging sometime, looks like fun!

Makes for a good way to pass an afternoon that's for sure.

wicked trail! looks like northern british colombia
