first time ive hated a straightpipe

ive got an 04 edge 2wd 3.0l my stock muffler was starting to rot out so i cut it out and connected the pipes with some 2" to 2.5". sounds like a damn honda civic now. cant wait till i decide on a muffler . anyone know of any really quiet mufflers. i actually kinda like not having this truck really loud. its not loud inside the cab now with the straightpipe but sounds like a fart can rice burner.

well duh it sounds bad, its a v6 with a strait pipe, just get a flowmaster or thrush weld, they sound really good

For a low noise, go stock setup. I get only the engine grumble at like 3-4k rpm and it sounds good. Not loud at all of course cause it's stock. I'm thinking about going with a delta 40 or 44 with side exit infront of rear wheels. Give a little bit more of a grumble.
But I just dumped 220 maybe 5 months ago on this muffle and piping so I really don't wanna dump more into it just for noise...

i dont even think i want to look at the price for a stock replacement. i was just hoping for a quiet 2" muffler to bolt in behind the cat. ive found over the years that with a loud exhaust you have a tendancy to miss major problem sounds. such as the squealing from my 5th aves water pump. headers dumped behind the drives door = tickets and overheating.

a cherry bomb turbo muffler is what you want. quiet. has a decent rumble. and is only 30.00
