First 2019 off the line

NICE !!! It would be great if they would allow us to build one online even before they release how much it would cost....this way, we can build our own, and see what packages you can and can't get....and it would pacify me for the next 11+ months :icon_thumby:

+1

It is driving me nuts how an STX compares optionwise to an XLT Sport. If it is mainly just wheels or something it might not be much of a cost to upgrade.

They did something kind of similar when the 2010 Mustang came out, you built "your" car and submitted it for a contest to win said car. As a bonus they received a nice sample of what people wanted.

IIRC the plant isn’t switching over until late this summer with regular production starting this fall

I posted this on our facebook page. Someone posted a reply that there's (2) of them sitting up there, and one is a manual.

I was under the impression there would be no manual option? Atleast thats one thing they got right

I saw that too.

It would be interesting to know if it was for real or if they are just putting misc parts on like they did with the debut trucks.

LOL. I do not believe very many people know for sure right now what is really going on with engines, trannies, trims, etc.

I know no one really knows. However, i believe the GM twins offer one, and if ford really wants to ose the bronco to fight with the wrangler, a manual would make alot of sense, atleast in my opinion.

I can't really disagree.

As of a month ago they didn’t let on that they had any plans for a manual. We did ask about it. The trucks at the show were patched together with powertrain parts from the T6. If they are still doing that that could be where the manual came from. Or maybe someone got cute and poked a mustang trans in a 2wd. They are prototypes yet and probably vary some from what regular production will be. Or maybe they were on the sly and a manual is in the works...

Tacoma has a 6 speed also. Pretty much a special order thing but they can make them with certain bed/cab configurations. Hard to find a stock ordered one on a lot.
