Okay, so I know that its a bit early to be searching, but im not one to procrastinate.
Looking for a set of dedicated winter rubber, and want some opinions.
Im not looking for an all season, as I run Nexen N3000's most of the year.
However, those wont suffice in the winter months.
Previous months I have run Michelin LTX M/S All seasons.
These were .... Okay... but I did have to chain the rears on a few occasions this past year, and at one point had to chain all four when the roads turned into a skating rink.
Background, these tires will be mounted on my Ranger
she is a 1990 Ranger, 2wd, open rear.
I live in a hilly area in Vancouver BC that sees little plow and salt action.
Yes, I do run with weight in the box.
Im looking for the size of 195 / 75 R 14, as I already have steel winter rims for the purpose.
I did find one set that looked like they would do the job nicely.
They are the Firestone Winterforce.

Anyone have experience with these, or have any pro / con stories?
