you need to fix your IMG tags tho to get the pics to show up in the thread

got three questions for ya, what year is your truck? how much did it cost ya to build the bumper? and would you be willing to build another?

that there bumper is awesome and is exactly what I would like to have on the back of mine.

well the only thing i paid for were the clevises. i could build another but it might take some time. i dont buy metal very often but im estimating 100 to 150. the whole bumper is tig welded. i could do like $350 to build it. i already have a guy wanting me to build him on for his super duty. after he saw mine i just finished it on saturday.

im not sure how to. i tried all the different urls and previewed them but this was the best one i could get.

btw its a 2002 fx4 and thanks guys.

its the kind of bumper i would want too :)

what did you use for a bender?

Count me in on that bumper. Just what I was looking for! It's perfect! Best one I have ever seen! Only problem is that I have a Stepside.
Fantastic job on that!
How long did it take you to fabricate?

I would add some more gussets from the flat step portion down to the lower tube angling in to resist twisting from being used as a step. I would also add one on each corner to give that wrap around some crumple resistance, and one on each side to give it some fold in resistance so you dont waste your quarter panel should you ever find yourself sliding into a tree on the trail, or telephone pole on the street. Just a few thoughts for improvement, other than that it is a very nice idea, and fairly well thought out. Congratulations on finishing it. FWM.

it's official,we all like your bumper.so,when you opening your own shop and shipping orders?it truly is a thing of beauty, good work!

man... thanks gents! i plan on doin more to it. im actually not finished but i wanted to c what it looked like with paint. hi-temp rattle can paint.
i have to make a bracket for the license plate lights and reenforce the mounting brackets and 4 more pices of tubing going from the outer top tube to the bottom tube and reenforce the reciever. i plan on being able to use a hi-lift from the corners.
possibly some lights.

btw, i used a hyd. bender. im not sure of the brand but ill get it later.

and not too sure on the man hours. id work on it here and there(weekends) and did a few design changes as i went. since it was my first bumper of this design i could probably do it in like under 36 man hours.

Looks really good.
You should start production on the bumpers, hell you already have a back log. LOL
