i might have a few pics of it on my photobucket.. try giving that a look if this explanation doesn't make sense to you.

okay, basically locate the trim that runs along the same x-axis as your coin tray and surrounds your cigg lighter.

pull your coin tray out, and push down on the tab so you can pull it out completely. you will also need to take out your cigg lighter.

that trim i was talking about will pop off, i don't think you'll break it, but never the less, be careful with it.

there is 3 screws on that faux wood panel to the right of the steering wheel, and another screw to the left.

the left one is trickier to get to. if you must, you can take off the light knob with a small flat head screwdriver or an allen key i've been told.

but for what i needed, i found it sufficient enough to just turn the lights on (pulling the knob out as far as it will go), and you can pop that trim off, maneuver it so you can get to that screw and then your faux wood trim will be off.

not too hard once you know what to do!

have fun, what are you taking it off for?

also dont forget there are a couple of screw along the top of the panel, under the padded dash.

i installed a new head unit yesterday because i got one for christmas
