i'll pass, last forum i spend money on, to get "premium" i got banned from... and they wouldn't even tell me why... they just kept saying "you know why" and of course, no refund... i think it's bad luck for me... never been banned from ANYTHING before... oh, except one shop, because i called the mechanic a f-ing retard

went into a shop for an alignment and wheel balance, went to pick it up, the guy says it's $160 100 for the alignment, and $60 for the ballance, ok, that's fine... then he tells me that the wheels will still be bumpy because they need to be spun on the rim... but they are balanced... so i argued with him (this was the franchise owner) about how they are either balanced or not, and if i need to spin them on the rim to balance them properly, then he didn't do it... he finally says "**** it" and crosses that off, so i'm down to just under 100$ with tax. i pay it and i'm on my way, driving home, the truck is pulling to the left slightly, (still does) so i go in the next day, and the mechanic is there (not the owner) and i ask for when the boss is going to be in, and he looks at me with a straight face and says "i am the boss" so i explained to him what the boss was, and he goes "i am the boss" i should describe this guy... he was about 47 years old, had like 3 teeth, and somewhat resembled freakshow, from harold and kumar go to whitecastle... so finally he understands that i'm looking for HIS boss... and he says "he's not here" he later tells me that the owner would be in the next day from 10-3 or something, so i show up in that time frame "he's not here" being this is a franchise, and there are several locations here in calgary, i ask him, where is the head office? and he says "you're standing in it" by this point i am so pissed, i want to slap the guy and check myself into a mental hospital... so i asked him if he was the boss of every "brake check" location in all of canada, or just for calgary, and he just looks at me blankly like he didn't understand... this is where i turned around and walked out, saying "****ing retard"

i don't think this is the same brake check as they have in the states... i never got an alignment report the owner said "i adjusted the toe a little bit" i later went back and talked to the owner who handed me a 100% bill and told me never to go back, to which i replied "gladly, and no one i know ever will either"
