I've been using this site since 2003 when I got my 2000 Ranger.
So far it has taught me to crank the torsion bars to lift 3" to clear the snow. ( at the time I was living in Colorado).
I just installed HIDs.
And to it rained all day, so I decided to do a ram air mod.
I forgot to snap pics of the trimming process, but my Dremmel battery died and I cut everything with my landscaping cable pipe cutter. Kind of a pain, but it worked. By the time I was done, my Dremmel had enough juice to clean up the edges. All in all, it cost $20 for filter, $13 for flange.
End result is a more throaty sound
, little more pep. Im doing a half tank MPG test now too. Going to be tough because I have to pull a trailer with landscaping stuff on it, so MPG will vary.
Hope this helps. Can't wait to mod some more.
