Finally done.....1st Gen, 351W

Not sure what's missing besides a smokey burnout. :D

I'll surely post one when the weather comes around...strange weather this year, snow one day and 45 degrees the next day...definately not the usual PA weather. Hoping an early spring may let me get it out in March. Then I'll throw on an old set of 275/60's on my Turbines and make enough smoke :3gears: to being tears to a tree huggers eyes!! :shok:

Great truck (& hood!)

{ My is daughter posing with it. I'd post her with Daddy's hot rod now but I'm not a fan of posting pics of my wife or kids on the web....sorry. But these were some of the only digital "before" pics that I had}

Those types of photos make GREAT family album pics!!!!!

I have one of my daughter when she was 3 years old...she fell asleep on the seat of my '41 pickup--she LOVED sitting in that old truck pretending that she was driving!!!!!!!

Thanks again guys. Snowed 6" today........not helping my itch to get the truck out!

Those types of photos make GREAT family album pics!!!!!

I agree but they don't have to be posted on the web for unknowing eyes to look at. Not saying that anyone on here is a kid eyeing creep, but those types are out of the web.

I'm a kid eyeing creep, just depends on the age of the kid... Lol,

<18, no dice!! Remember, everyone is someone's kid...

what size cam you running? im building a 91 4x4 with 13.5 inches of lift long travel and dropping the motor i just picked up from the machinest soon hopefully....30 over 10/10 351w with 540 lift 300 duration noisy gear drive edelbrock 60cc 2.02 valved aluminum heads with dual plane 750 dropped my c6 off this week to the tranny guy going with 2500 stall to keep it streetable and this summer put in my d44 full width front and 9" rear and hopefully raptor trophy truck kit on it...cant wait!!

what size cam you running?

It's not very big, Comp 280 series w/ .512" and a 107 or 110 LSA. With the long tubes, dual 3" and Delta race mufflers it sounds like a .750" lift!

Its fuc**** great!

Man, seriously, its amazing, nice truck, nice build. nice swap. and the most inportant:
BUILT FORD TOUGH!!!! :icon_welder: :3gears:
I dream with the hope to finally will build my own like yours.
see my avatar? its a stiker designed for my truck, only printed on adhesive paper and glued to the instruments, not corrected the k / h as mine has no modification would be even, but I can upgrade to the features of your truck. would be an honor for me that I could use it in your truck. just tell me and I sent it by mail.

Its funny how much your originally looked like mine. Mines a 84 too, but a 4cyl from the factory. I like your bench seat alot better.

oh wow, not trying to dig up an old thread like a jerk, but what type of full length headers are you running on there that you got to fit with the 351W? I have a 302 currently in mine, and am looking to eventually do a 351w swap and do the exhaust up Properly with full length, but it looks like everyone on these build threads has no luck with full length headers and 351W swaps.
let me know if you get a chance. thanks a million
