what do you guys think?? not bad for 3 days huh

good work, what year springs did you get? i been hearing alot about guys getting older springs like 88 or so and having them sag real bad

looks good. I have been wanting to do this swap. how do you like it so far, How is the ride and can you get some pics. of the front mount and how you were able to mate it with the rear cab mount. thank sorry for all the questions. nice job with the swap.

the springs were off a 94 suburban

ill get some pictures soon, but so far it handles better and ride smoother... damn road bumps in the parking lots dont make the rear end jump off the ground anymore.. but i took it out is some dirt and over some obsticles and she can actually keep the rear tires planted on the ground for travtion.. flexes like a MOFO!!!

it really wasnt that hard of a job, just make shur you have 3 or 4 days handy ODIE

i didnt take the time to make the cab mount and bracket mold together.. so i cut most of the back cab mount off and took the rest of the top right tab and hammered it over the frame and welded it

i really dont know, they were off a chevy burban the i took the overload spring out and stuck a ranger leaf between em.. they are alot stiffer in a sence that they hold the weight of the frame an gas and cab better than the stock springs.. but they still flex like no other..

Looks good, you'll love the chebby springs. I've been running mine for over a year now. Mine are out of an 88 c1500. I'm running them without a overload leaf aswell. I added a bII main leaf into the pack after I put the heavier logger box on the truck as it caused it sag a bit.

Looks good!

Nice Camo job on the shocks! :icon_rofl:

I have seen a few people do the chevy spring swap. but what are people doing to the front end to raise it up. I have not seen a lift for my 03 and would like to do it, but i need that front in up too. By the way great work!!! looks good. i like the army paint going on.
