I think that looks really neat. Minus the screen thing on the door. But nice job. How much did that cost?

It's not a screen. Plexi glass with etched logo and green LEDs. Not sure on price. Didn't really keep up with what I bought for them.

I meant cost for the whole project. And how long did it take you?

looks good, I woulda put grills over the woofers because they are at ideal foot grazing height. Got more pics of what I'm assuming are the tweeter mounts?

Yea im still trying to find some grills i like and that will fit. and no clue on total cost. Just bought stuff as i needed it but probably around 400-500 including the custom plexi and speakers.
and heres some more pics of the a-pillars...didnt realize i didnt get those up

The rest of the system will hopefully be in within the next week. Will be:
2 Sundown SA12s
1 Sundown saz-1500d
1 Sundown sax-125.2
2 Kinetik HC1400s
All 1/0 Knu wiring

Nice work there, that'll look pretty slick once she's all installed and bumpin...

You've got to put the finished product pictures up. This is sweet.

I really like the look of the black primer. Probably leave em like this until i paint the outside and just get em sprayed then to match. Will take the rest of the interior out too and smooth off the texture and get those painted too. Sundown order should be here this comin week so just keep your eyes on this thread....ill just use this as a build log too.

wow

damn that looks sweet man sure wish i didnt wreck mine or i would try to do something like this for mine

excellent jerb.

how much heavier are the doors now? do they have trouble attaching to the door frame?

I wanted to do this but I was worried about the stress on the plastic mounting tabs.
