I found a good deal on a set of fiberglass fenders and bedsides from a 2000 Ranger, I'm just wondering if I can make them fit on my 94 ranger without major modification.
Front fenders are different, the headlights are a different shape and mounting may be different as well. The bedsides however are completely useable and worth getting for a deal.
Guy wants $150 for bedsides alone or $240 for all 4 pieces. I don't need the fenders as I already have some (a bit beat up). I guess I can put the front fenders away until I put all the conversion pieces together.
I wish I could find a decent, bolt on, fiberglass hood for my truck. I straightened it out after a collision with a deer and filled and blocked it out as straight as possible. I still get kinda aggravated when I look at the hood and see spots where I could've done a bit better.
Not to mention that the hood on these trucks seems to be really damn heavy.
Unless you get a 'light weight' fiberglass hood, or a hood skin (pin down) the fiberglass hood may very well end up being heavier than a stocker, I know mine was 4 lbs heavier.
