Alright so im looking into some FG stuff for my 1989 ranger right now. Im thinking a full 1 piece front end would be cool, but every 1 piece i have found is a conversion to a newer style. im thinking im just going to get front FG fenders, and flare the rears. Could you please send me some info/links on the different fiberglass fenders and 1 piece front ends for my 89 ranger.

Heres how she sits :

thanks :headbang:

all of the 1 piece front clips that I know of are updates...98 newer look.supply and demand.

unless your truck is fully built...full cage work etc. a one piece could turn in to a pain in the ass removing it by yourself etc for maintence..just something to think about. Also a one pice is more work to mount.

You cant beat the McNeil family on bang for your buck when it comes to fiberglass.

makes some of the nicest in fit and finish for fiberglass. But you also pay for it.

Called mcneil..seems like shipping is going to be around $300 CAD to my place... so im thinking i might go with fiberworx stuff from baja north... should save me a whole bunch on shipping. kinda sucks though because the mcneil 3" flare ones are the best looking IMO.... Any other ones your leaving out chris... or is that it ?

thats a bummer about the shipping.

Thats pretty much it on the fiberglass supply list that Im aware of.

as far as one piece, canyon pretty much nailed it. Unless you have an engine cage, it might be a huge pain in the nuts to install, reinstall, line up, etc. You may also have to suppy your own braces and clips as well.

Another option is just running glass fenders and a glass hood like my brother did.

Once I get some more money saved up (race season seems to take most of it) I'll end up doing some mcneil glass on my ranger as well.

shipping sucks, cost me $450 to get front fenders and boxsides shipped from fiberwerx to Newfoundland, Canada I was close to $1500 to get it all plus I had to replace my rad support (which I did while I had the fenders off $150) and the $50 for paint supplies (spray cans primer, paint, sandpaper) so from time of order to having all of it on my truck cost almost 2g's.

I'm just curious, what do you do with the inner fender well when you put fiberglass in? Do you just trash it?

All one peice front ends are 98 and newer i was looking for a one peice for my 95 and wanted to keep my 95 look but they just make them... here are some site you can look its where i got my flares...

www.fiberwerx.com

or google Fender Flares and itll bring up a ton of sites for you...

Good Luck
