Few engine mod questions

1. Will doing the 86-87 throttle body port matching the upper and lower intake and headers will it even effect the truck any or would I have to do a cam and different heads to get anything out of the motor.

Also if the top stuff would make a difference then what headers would be the best to run

yes you would probably gain some horse power in the the higher rmp range but lose some torque down low where you need it. as far as headers about the only choice you have is pacesetter

alright thanks thats kinda what i thought guess it's gonna stay stock for now till i get enough to do a v8 swap

That is the best way to go. If you're planning a V8 swap, just run it till it croaks. Not sense in putting money and time into it, it won't be worth your while.
