Hey. So I want some fender flares to cover up my wheels that stick out like...3 ish inches further. I know bushwacker makes some that will do that but I want some that look like this:

I love the look of black flares with polished bolts. I know I could get newer style ranger fender flares paint em black, drill a hole thro em, run some polished bolts or whatever but then I wouldn't get the additional coverage. Is there a way I can get the looks and coverage I want, does some other companies make them or something? Or am I going to have to choose?

I thought they were all smooth? With no "dents" for bolts?

Edit: I went and creeped on your truck Brendan and I see what you mean. I guess I gotta look closer before cluttering up the forums!

Those are Pocket Style flares. Bushwhacker makes them. There is a guy on Ebay that has a company he makes them for the F series and I asked if he makes them for the Rangers and he said he does. It takes about three weeks to get them since they are hand made by them. Just look for F150 pocket flares on Ebay and you will see the guys auctions. He will let you know the price on them. They are really nice looking flares!!!

Linky to ebay guy?

The guys Ebay user id is westcoastfiberglass. Hope this helps. You will need to email him about building you a set. I asked him and he said yes he can make them for the Rangers.

I sent the guy a message and this is what he said:

"Hi not yet we are to make the molds soon thanks"

So hopefully soon...fingers crossed!

Hmmmmm...that is not what he told me....I will email him again.

Down below is the reply I got back from them on Ebay, Friday night. Is this my understanding that they are starting to do the molds or that can make them in three weeks? I emailed them again last night to see if this means they are starting to make them or they can make them now. Not to sure. The website says to allow up to three weeks for building the flares and receiving them. I asked this time if they were just now making the molds and a phone number for contact. I will let you guys know. I think these flares will look great on our Rangers!!!

Dear fzrr750,

HI yes we will make them in a few weeks thanks

Awesome! I think your black fares are really sophisticated. It blends with your truck. I think they will like that. You can choose from ebays or other online markets. :icon_thumby:
