Feels Like I hit the brakes in any gear except OD. Drives good in OD.

So my truck lost reverse after i hit a good speed bump and a snap ring popped out and let a cover (passenger side front one) go sideways. I saw the ring was worn so i replaced it. I also have no 1,2,d but OD drives just fine down the interstate around town everything. What could this be?
Any help is greatly appreciated
