well i have posted on here before about the 2-3 shift flare on a 96 2.3 4r44e and while trying to hard wire a cig lighter it not working i looked in the fuse box on the left of the dash and the fuse was fine but i also noticed that fuse slot 26 (4r44e overdrive, backup lights, drl system) had no fuse in it and also the wires to the overdrive seitch on the shifter had a horrible repair job done previous owner and was no longer connected inside gonna fix these few problems then ill update.

well i got a fuse in it and i fixed the wires to the switch unfortunatly the tranny is still slipping ( what a surprise huh) however it actiually acts like an overdrive tranny now and even when it slips it shifts smoother and i have control of the od for the first time since iv owned the truck and i have back up lights again yay haha hopefully this helps my 1/4 of a tank a day fuel consumption (note: i drive over 36 miles a day) but i havent figured up my gas milage yet because neither my trip or my odometer work accurately
