I have a 2000 Ranger 4X4. When coming to a stop and starting from a stop I feel a bump in the rear end of the truck. Problem does not exist when the truck is cold but seems to start after it has been driven for a while. Any suggestions on where to start looking. Transmission shifts fine.

I'm going to say its the driveshaft "thump". There are a couple of TSBs out for it (describe the thump/bump a little different in them), may want to check those out.

Thanks, that seems to be the problem after reading TSB's.

Sometimes the Ubolts can workthemselfs loose over time to.

later,
Dustin

have a link to the TSB's about that?
