Favorite Educational Show

Cinemax and PPV Porn. I have never learned anything from watching my TV that has been more useful than the things I learned over the years from porn.

true that..but who the hell pays for porn?

they are all good.

Don't really have a favorite. But if I did, I would just start listing channels and not shows. Any channel with something that is educational and catches my interest, I watch.

I am 31. I was in to porn prior to the internet working it's wonderful magic.

DIY network shows,This Old House,Ask This Old House,Hometime,Woodworks, and New Yankee Workshop.

Sadly Norm has wrapped production after 20 years,I Have learned a great deal from him and have slowly been building my woodshop for my retirement years. New Yankee website remains open.

I recently caught a show on PBS that was insanely awesome called "The Woodwright's Shop With Roy Underhill". Traditional woodworking.

Roy's an odd duck but good at what he does. Ever see New Yankee Workshop with Norm Abrams? Ask This Old House?

Winners, all.

Skip, I haven't seen a Hometime in years. When is it on? Also This Old House?

I like Norm too, but whenever he worked on something it was sort of "... and we go over here to our (insert multi-thousand dollar professional machine)..." Ya know? lol

Love the This Old House shows as well.

I know. I watch sometimes thinking 'yeah, if PBS wasn't paying for your (insert high-bucks tool) you'd be doing it the hard way like the rest of us.'

I'm not much of a TV guy, I'd MUCH rather be in my garage rearranging tools or better yet finding an excuse to actually use them. That being said, I have been working my way through all the seasons of mythbusters and it is interesting. Kind of agitating that they miss some very obvious points to the myth and even more agitating that they got rid of Scottie. She was HAWT. Also the missus usually makes me curl up on the couch with her and watch TV a couple times a week, so I'll usually click on the history channel and watch whatever's on...as long as it isn't Monster quest. I've really been enjoying Pawn Stars and although I've only seen two episodes I'm REALLY enjoying American Pickers. I like to see all the history behind what they find and all the badass Americana.

how its made is an awesome show. Also like No Reservations on the travel channel.
