favorite car

the '87 gnX--it was a souped up gn--fastest american production car on the street at the time--whooped a brand new 'vette on the strip, with only a v6!!!

i would sell my soul for one of them.....

i like the 1989 5.0 mustangs, notchback

mercury marauder, 69 camaro, and early 80's rangers with huge motors in them.

I like the mid-80s Lincolns. Mid 80's Rangers too, just a plain and simple body style.

I think I answered this in another thread, but if you REALLY want a NICE older vehicle, you can't beat a 1936 Duesenberg. Like this one (one of two SSJs ever made):

That thing has a 320 HP supercharged straight-8. Duesies were FAST.

You can't even beat a Hyundai Accent with one of those butt ugly 1980s pimpmobiles. Nothing nice came out of the 70s or 80s....

If you want a nice modern vehicle, I rather like the Teslas.

For $50k I would rather have a GT-500 or a Corvette.

Luxury cars all look pretty much the same to me, I could really care less about them... and I am glad they have power so I don't have to keep digging them out of my tires after they cut me off at the last minute.

Alright, that was funny.:D

I didn't say I wanted one, I just said they are powerful.

I like the new Mustangs. I think they did a great job bringing back that original look--I like it better than any of the early ones. They look tough enough to punch you in the face. I remember hating the Fox body cars when they first came out. I actually liked the Pinto Mustangs better for looks.

If price didn't matter I'd have to go with one of these.

SSC Ultimate Aero TT. Fastest production car built yet. Designed and built by Shelby Motor Works. Unfortunately no, that not Caroll Shelby.

actually, thats not a Carol Shelby product. its just another guy with the same last name.

my dream car would be a 68 Lincoln Continental w/ modded cummins or powerstroke.

Well I'll be damned. I checked a couple other sources and you're right. My bad. I originally heard a while back that it was the same guy. Oh well, don't trust everything that you read I suppose. I'll edit that info. Still gotta admit it's a sweet car.

I like them too, the best car in the game Test Drive: Eve of Destrustion IMO.

Kinda slow, but fast for their size and can both take and give a heck of a beating. I haven't found a car that can outpush them yet either, and they handle a trailer nice too. The car on there is called the "Limo" but is obviously the same car aside from the grille. The engine is even blue when you flip it over.

Aside from that I don't think I would care for one in real life though, just isn't the same without the stacks thru the hood.

well of course would be the delorian from back to the future....would love to time travel and that thing is just bad ass....also i am starting to like my old mustard bottle zx2 s/r...becouse 30 mpg is sounding way better than the 16-18 that i am gettin with my 3.0 in this new ranger

My all time favorite would have to be an '87 Buick GNX. Gorgeous car.

Next 2 would be an 03-04 Terminator (SVT Cobra). and a couple different year models of the Gran Torino.

I would have a hard time taking any car over a 79 150 or 250. But if I did, it would have to be a Lotus.

Maverick, what the heck is that thing?

It's an Ariel Atom. Depending on whos testing them, around 3 second 0-60 and about 2 G's in the corners :shok: They're impressive to say the least. Basically a street legal indy car.

My favorite car is the Shelby Cobras from the mid '60s. It's the only car I've had that would set off car alarms just driving down the street at 30mph. Best factory exhaust system ever.
