Quite miserably, actually...

Very high stink of gas (haven't had it running inside a garage in years) and the test showed high in everything except NO (which failed also)...

Only thing that actually passed was the CO while driving test...

But I had the carb fuel too high and they don't allow you to adjust anything while the test is being done...now I have to have a diagnostic and retest done and they MIGHT give me a conditional...the Service Manager was there looking at my engine shaking his head...lol

Only good thing was the idle was in the right range...

What upsets me is that this test is no longer required in Northern Ontario...and I turned down a job up there last month...dang~

Emissions test or not, smelling of gas can't be a good thing.............

True...and until you have a test you really can't tell what's going on...it was runnning really good with a few minor exceptions (like not starting when the temp drops to -15 or below)...and getting crappy gas mileage (gee, no surprise now~)...

I adjusted the idle mix this morning and turned down the primary mix to 1.5 turns...started stalling when I stop, but that may be the idle adjust screw itself...

Most of the problem is that the carb is seriously missing parts...no choke, no high idle kick down...and the purge cannister system is disconnected (mainly because my float was set too high and I had fuel dumping into the purge cannister)...

Needs work...:)

do you still have a cat on it?
mine was running like crap. the thing was missing so bad it would barely run but I put a new cat on it from a 5.0 stang and after I got the exhaust fixed I took it down and it passed with flying colors.

Funny you should mention that...because it is the original cat and has probably seen better days...I was thinking I might just replace it and try to find an air pump...but there is also a serious issue with the way it's set up...I definitely had the fuel mixture too far open and when I tried to adjust the idle screw it would not idle...

I think I need to seriously consider changing the carb/intake or replace the carb with one that is complete (mine is missing so many parts)...

But I'm researching the voltage from the coil because I read somewhere that it should be some outrageously high number like 50,000 volts at the plugs...not sure how that can be attained because the voltage at the coil is about 7 volts out of the coil...which is what it's supposed to be going into the coil...
