If it asks for a username and password, they are both library.

Or you can always buy the factory service manuals. I have a set of them for both my B2 and my F-250. They cover EVERYTHING.

The set for the B2 is about 4" thick, the set for the F-250 is about 8" thick... They are very valuable, but the link I posted up is free, minds well give it a shot.

Ford manuals cover quite a lot of things (and they are the source for Haynes and Chilton), but they SUCK at electrical, especially emissions. There is a ridiculously hard to get separate emissions manual and much easier to find electrical/vacuum troubleshooting manual. You really need all three, and perhaps a factory electrical diagram.

GM manuals have all this stuff together in one manual, including DTC charts.

A Ford set does consist of three things: the Shop Manual; the Emissions and Diagnostics book; and the EVTM (Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual), but having the set covers everything you'll ever need to troubleshoot or repair the truck. The complete wiring diagrams are available, and I like the Ford Training books, too, for a great quick reference. Anybody else collect this stuff?

Collect this "stuff"? I've got the Ford shop manuals for the '66' Ranchero, '69' Fairlane, '93' Mustang, '97' Explorer and the 2000 Ranger. Wiring diagrams for those above plus the '89' Ranger, '05, '06' Ranger, '06' Mustang and Explorer. Always come in handy for someone.

Gets to be kind of an addiction. I've got all kinds of Ranger/B2/Exploder manuals, brochures, ads, ect. for between '83 and '94, and then I've got Camaro and Firebird manuals for '67 and '68. Glad I can't afford any more vehicles.

I like to keep a complete set of service manuals for all my vehicles.

Surprisingly, it was very easy to find 1972 GM light truck chassis service and component rebuild manuals. But I had a bear of a time finding a 1991 Ford emissions diagnostics manual.

Thanks for the info guys...Jspafford your link will be quite helpful. Usually I only take on the small jobs... replacing sensors and such so I hate to spend big money for a shop manual.

I did a search and found:
HERE

They want $160.00 for a new shop manual. I didn't see any up on ebay.. but I can keep looking.

Thanks again for the infos

I was looking online and I found some used ones on ebay and this site above. If you look you can get a used one for 40-60 + shipping. 1/3 of the price over new is great.
