so ive had some good and bad experiences with some fabs shop. i just wanted to share my opinions on some shops and also like to see what other shops you may recommend as well.
Datin Fab - http://www.datinfab.com/
the first thing that comes to mind is customer service. when ive ordered a few things from them, i had special requests for brackets widths. they had no problem making changes to there dimensions listed. the person i spoke to over the phone took my requests and had the guys start working on my order as son as he got off the phone. i know that because i put in the order at noon and the parts were at my door the next day at noon. i know their location is close to me but thats still a good turn around time.
Ballistic Fabrication - http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/
well these guys have alot of happy customers. im not one of them. i ordered some coil buckets from them and it took 2 weeks for me to get them(they are out of Tucson , im in SD). when i recieved them, the cuts made on the brackets where diagnal like they had the cutter offset. this made the brackets useless because the holes that where along the side didn't have enoung strenghth anymore beacause they actually were cut into by the offset cutter. the didnt clean the metal up either.
Blue Torch Fab - http://www.bluetorchfab.com/store/
i have had too much experience with them but they are great over the phone. there customer service is good and there shipping is resonable. there products are good quality as well.
Rusty's Offroad - http://www.rustysoffroad.com/
If you were to go on any jeep forum, you would get the feeling that rustys is the black plague. this is mostly due to rustys tracbars. there have been several cases where the tracbar snaps while on road driving causing severe accidents. rustys never takes the blame for there weak tracbars and says its due to incorrect instalation.
i did once buy some parts from them and shipping was outrageous. it took over 2 weeks to recieve 2 tiny coil spring retainers. thats unsat.
this is pretty much a way to look out for one another. i hope this helps any future fabricators.
