so ive had some good and bad experiences with some fabs shop. i just wanted to share my opinions on some shops and also like to see what other shops you may recommend as well.

Datin Fab - http://www.datinfab.com/
the first thing that comes to mind is customer service. when ive ordered a few things from them, i had special requests for brackets widths. they had no problem making changes to there dimensions listed. the person i spoke to over the phone took my requests and had the guys start working on my order as son as he got off the phone. i know that because i put in the order at noon and the parts were at my door the next day at noon. i know their location is close to me but thats still a good turn around time.

Ballistic Fabrication - http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/
well these guys have alot of happy customers. im not one of them. i ordered some coil buckets from them and it took 2 weeks for me to get them(they are out of Tucson , im in SD). when i recieved them, the cuts made on the brackets where diagnal like they had the cutter offset. this made the brackets useless because the holes that where along the side didn't have enoung strenghth anymore beacause they actually were cut into by the offset cutter. the didnt clean the metal up either.

Blue Torch Fab - http://www.bluetorchfab.com/store/
i have had too much experience with them but they are great over the phone. there customer service is good and there shipping is resonable. there products are good quality as well.

Rusty's Offroad - http://www.rustysoffroad.com/
If you were to go on any jeep forum, you would get the feeling that rustys is the black plague. this is mostly due to rustys tracbars. there have been several cases where the tracbar snaps while on road driving causing severe accidents. rustys never takes the blame for there weak tracbars and says its due to incorrect instalation.
i did once buy some parts from them and shipping was outrageous. it took over 2 weeks to recieve 2 tiny coil spring retainers. thats unsat.

this is pretty much a way to look out for one another. i hope this helps any future fabricators.

not sure if anyone gives a damn by looking at the replies but i just have something to add.

i recently purchased a few items from Ballistic Fab once again. they had the parts i needed at the best price so i thought id give them another chance.

well i ordered some lower control brackets the weekend before labor day weekend so i could definitly have everything i needed to get a good start for my sas. well the brackets came in but they were the wrong ones. i returned them the same day and spoke to a sales rep with ballistic who said he would send me the right pair the same day as well.

well it takes about 2 days for shipping. so on the third day i called to ask for the brackets and he said they had to cut some new ones out after he told me on the phone that they had them on the shelf. so he would have to ship them the net day. i went ahead and ordered a new tre and some johnny joints and a bung for the tre to be shipped wit the new lower control arm brackets that were already late. well i did get the tre and the bung and johnny joints.

the tre was left handed threads though i requested right handed. the bung that was supposed to thread onto the tre was right handed and way too big for the tubing i specified. the lower control arm brackets never even made it with these parts which i order a few days prior to these parts.

well he gave some lame ass excuse that the package must have been lost in the mail but the tracking number that i was given didnt even exist. he said it must have slid under the truck while loading.

well now i am still waiting on the lower control arm brackets as well as the right size bung and tre. i just never expected to get such horrible service from a company thats become so popular.

has anyone else had problems wit these guys?
