Assuming you are talking about the 86 and older with the cast iron reservoir like for a disk brake 8.8 swap.
Just tuck it out of sight into a harness somewhere so you don't have to look at it and pretend you forgot it was there to plug in.
It is for the "BRAKE" light on the dash to let you know you are getting low on fluid. Your actual brake light switch is on your pedal.
The plastic reservoir F-350 master that replaced it should have provisions it but you also need a $50 valve if you go that route. Its one of those parts no parts store had ever heard of, I just thought I needed an adaptor until an old timer heard me at Carquest and piped up it is a stupid valve, he said you could only get it from Ford.
