Some progress on this project...
Made a giant allen wrench to put in the upper kingpins on the D60.
Oops, I ordered the Dodge/chevy kingpin rebuild kit. Means i am short by one cap and 4 bolts. No biggy.
Stripped allen heads come out easily with a hammer and a torx bit.
A couple different types of grease.
Some how both kingpins came out by hand. No cheater bar, no heat no nothing. I applied less than 40 footlbs of torque and they came out. They are supposed to be torqued to 650 ftlbs!!!!!!
Lower kingpin bearing looked pretty good.
Removing the race is cake.
Cleaned up and ready to finish painting.
