i heard to run big block chevy valve springs on the body bolts and it'll flex. a blazer in petersens 4wheel & offroad had that done...

I remember that. Except of was an old Chevy pickup. A green OD Army painted one....

FWIW.....I say fawk the body mounts and run it like it is until you can get the truck out of commission for a couple days to do them. That's kind of a PITA job there. I had to do that on the Ranger a while back.
