i saw the articles in the tech library on these subjects. im wantin to use bilstein 5100 shocks but dont know which ones to get. the article said to use f150 2" lift shocks but the guy was using a coil spacer, im not. and i saw the article on the 64" chevy leaf swap but im wantin to use the stock shackle(not a 7" like in the article) and use my stock leafs. i need to know which shocks to use for the rear after that flip? this is for a 97 btw.

nevermind. i found out how to measure for shocks.

ok so i was told that the f150 coils will be too much lift up front and ill end up with bad camber unless i use drop brackets. and i dont wanna go that route cuz im eventually gonna install a long travel kit but i just want it sittin a lil high for the time being. so i was thinkin just some 2" leveling coils? but im wanting to run 30x9.5 tires, will that fit and will i still have decent turning radius? and will that size of tire fit in the rear with a shackle flip and stock leafs? im really needin to find out by this weekend so i can get everything done before more bad weather hits. would really appreciate it. and im kinda on a budget so i was wondering what kinda doner truck coils would give me a 2" lift. would v6 bronco II coils work?? thanks for any advice or info

not sure about the b2 coils. Keep in mind that with the shackle flip the rear of your truck will be sitting lower. A 30x9.5 will fit without problem. If you think you need more room in the rear you can pull the bed sides. There is an article about this in the tech library. I would say the 2" leveling coils will work well for your application for the time. Get some fiberglass fenders next. Then go long travel and have fun. For the rear you can run some bilstein 5100's as a temp fix. But I would upgrade to 2.5x16 reservoir shock. Check out FOA if you are on a budget. Great shocks for a cheap price. Enjoy.
