So this is where im at i have been working on getting enough parts to start on a project ranger. I have a slightly wrecked 2wd 87 ranger using as a parts truck for my DD. I also have a 4.6 thunderbird slighty wrecked. So i have a motor and a truck to put it in. I was curious if i can bolt up a f250 4x4 trans and the 4x4 components the reason im curious bout this set up is we use f250 4x4 with the 5.4 at work and i mean they catch hell and they hold up very well.
i figured if f250 components with a work body can be reliable with a group of linemen at an EMC it would make a dang good toy truck.
