Hi
My 99 Ranger XLT doors shake like crazy. It seems to me that the back doors need adjusting. I moved the bottom door strikers as far in as possible. I tried adjusting the latch at the bottom of the door but there really is no adjustment there. When I close the door and then grab it near the bottom I can shake it and moves about a half inch or so. It's almost like it's not latched at all. This is happening on both sides. The door hinges seem stable.

Is there an adjust or fix to tighten the bottom latch?

Thanks
Brian

Sounds like the bottom latches are not grabbing or latching. Lube them up good and see if that helps.

Check the door mounts...they may be loose...but you can adust the door up or down through them and tighten them up...mine did the same thing until I used the mount adjustment...moving the latches only compounds the problem...
