I'm not a Ranger owner, but i just figured i'd register to pass on a piece of information that might help a few Ranger owners.
If you are in the market for an Extang Trifecta cover for your Late model Ranger (might fit more cuz i don't think much changed over the years). Don't use the Ranger specific cover. I've installed a good few and they don't fit quite right.
While i was working we found out that a tonneau cover for the Chevrolet Colorado/Canyon's actually fit better and looked cleaner installed on the truck. Some Ranger covers actually required an adjustment to the mounting locations to fit around the factory bedliners and it was just not the best way to do it. My old boss actually sent that information to Extang, so maybe they might change it in the future.
I do highly recommend Trifecta's as a soft tonneau as it's one of the best and easiest to install on the market.
Sorry for your time, just wanted to pass that on and i wish all of you the best of luck. I'm not a Ford fan (not a Ford hater though) but the Ranger's are a tough little truck. If i ever get alot of money i might build a 2WD prerunner sometime down the road. I'm a GM truck guy to the core, but i am not here to troll and cause trouble. Each vehicle have their ups and downs.
