I am investigating a 1996 explorer v8 swap into a 93 ranger.
1. I want to keep the truck with a manual transmission. I know my 3.0L m5od won't bolt up to the v8, what transmissions will? Can I use a m50d-r2 from an f150?
2. Will the v8's computer work with the manual transmission? Are there any feedback signals the computer needs from the transmission?
3. is it better off swapping in a v8/trans/tcase from a f150?
