Explorer Overhead Console (blue display)

Can you take a pic of what it looks like without the lens? I just converted my cluster to white LEDs and I wouldn't mind making my OHC match.

I was just looking online and ford is only listing one lens for the explorer 1995-2001 maybe the 02 and up is a different color?

I pulled one from a 97 and it is green, if you want to swap lens that will be fine with me.

you can buy a new LED display and install it yourself with some steady hands and a soldering iron... check out this hot display!!!

just do a search for the right size LED display and you'll find ones that match what you are looking for...

Fixed the sensor... one of the wires got undone when I ran it through the wire loom...

So, I took of the blueish/aqua lens off the display, and that is all it is.. anyone have a green lens they want to trade???

My overhead says the same thing, except mine came with it, I didnt install it. Anyone got a lead on a wiring diagram for this thing so I can test my circuits to find the problem before I go buy a new sensor? Thanks

I was mistaken, the first display I got was from a 98 and it was green, I just pulled another from a 97 and it is blue. maybe they changed that year?

Got the new overhead console in.. its definitely green.

BTW, I have 2 other overhead consoles in pretty good shape with the blue display if anyone is interested, I'd sell it at a reasonable price.

They are both black with grey trim, and in good shape. I think $25 is fair.
