Explorer console ????

has anyone fitted a 95-99 explorer full length console into a 90-94 ranger? wondering how it looks where it mates against the dash and if the floor hump is different and cause problems with mounting

thanks man, but yea you have the dashboard meant for that console, i have the older "boxier" dash in my 94, i wanted to see how it meets up with that dash, i think it will be decent, but i figured someone on here had to have at least tried it, successfully or not lol

the last picture shows it matted to the older dash 91-94 explorer/89-93 ranger, its the tweed covered one

did that require alot of cutting or anything to the ashtray area of the dash? and how bout the mounting brackets on the floor? did you just have to drill holes for the bolts or did you have to space the brackets due to trans tunnel differences?

i think the guy just trimmed it if i remember right, also the floors are the same for the explorers from 91-01 just the firewalls where the dashes bolt are different so the mounts should work just fine
