hey guys was wanting your opinion on something, I am rebuilding a 89 ranger truggy I bought and was thinking about putting an explorer body on it the ranger is a long bed and the wheel base on it is like 2 inches longer than a 5 door ex so it would fit length wise but not sure about the width. I can get one cheap that has a bad tranny so was thinking about trying to put it on the ranger frame what do you guys think?

would it serve your purpose? do you need the interior room? if so, go for it. it could be done. i mean idk what the width diff is. it shouldn't matter if you have patience and can do the custom work.. i think it'd be awesome. but a well built ranger truggy takes my breath away.... so

i would think width wise they should be pretty darn similar. the front suspensions are the same, the front sheet metal is the same (i think), theyre both rbvs.

the width is irrelevant, i have my '88 bII body sitting on a chevy 3/4 ton frame that is 4" wider than a bii's.
