Has anyone swapped a explorer xale w/ disc brakes into a ranger?

pretty straight forward to do .. swap spring perches, reweld shock mounts an thats about it.

or buy an axle flip kit, and redo the upper shock mounts if you cant weld:icon_thumby:(for ranger only)

yeah worse case have to drill and tap for the 2.5 bolt circle(89 down 2.5" circle), but 90+ (3" circle) will bolt up or get the correct u-joint adapter

Srry about the double post but couldnt you just get a driveshaft from a 90-92 ranger with the same engine trans and use that?

yeah, just make sure the t-case has the same output flange(or take it with the shaft, easier to setup than a pinion flange), and to comment my above post i don't recommend using any blocks with that setup if your extended cab be a good time to swap in that 98+ shaft

the explorer RAB should be the same, worse case(i think) you just drop you sensor in and it should work
