Exploder Spring questions

Hey I have a exploder leaf pack that im throwing in the ranger, do you think I should take out the overloads when I flip the center bolt? Or will it just sag?

I'm going for mainly flex. Dont really need hight

I kept my overloads.....just put a new center bolt in....

I think they still flex really good....

are you putting a new center bolt in? i need a new one for my explorer leaf pack, but cant find one.

i'm planning on leaving my overload in as well, not sure if i'm gonna get enough height tho

I wouldn't advise completely removing the overload leaf, you'll take away all the support for the rest of the leaves, possibly leading to them bending or fatiguing at the leaf perch after some time (not to mention you'll have lots more axle wrap too).

You may be able to flip them upside down for a bit more flex however (or substitute the OL leaves from your Ranger packs (flipped or otherwise), which are a slight hair flatter than Ex overloads).

i just got a new center bolt from NAPA and cut off the excess....

the ford center bolts are 10mm, just get one that's the right length and grind the head round...

Im using my center bolt thats already there, and I may use the ranger OL
