Hi folks from sunny Bulgaria were the explorer is as rare as rocking horse s::t. I'm in deserate need of a manual box for my 4.0sohc and info on the computer mods needed tomake it work! As an engineer the work isn't a prob just sourcing the parts. I've already imported a steering rack top and bottom wishbones etc etc. Auto box was rebuilt here, but after $1500 spent it stopped again after 500 kms, NO more auto box! Help

Auto Transmission

the rebuilder probably only did a soft parts rebuild. If they did a full rebuild of the transmission then it would have been more expensive.

Yeah, the valve body (which is probably your problem) is $1500 by itself.
