i put a glass pack on my truck and it is exremely loud in the cab do to the fact that it is right past the cab of the truck. I want to extend it just a little behind the back tire to try to quiete it down a bit. i need to go over the axle how far above the axle should i go?

Where is the tail pipe located? do you have the glasspack dumped under the cab?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing...they are quieter if you put the extension on the end and run it out to the rear of the truck...

yes that is what i am going to do. I called orielly auto parts and got the stock tail pipe that runs to the back of the truck. and i put the glass pack just past the cab. the stock tail pipe was 20 bucks

yeah, I noticed that too, much cheaper than buying the pieces of pipe and piecing something together...

i had a glasspack on from the cat, and then ran a cheap 2.5 inch sidepipe out just before the tire. cheap and sounds alright for a 4 cylinder
