I am at the last phase of my 4.0L engine swap into my 86 B2. All I need to do is replace the exhaust system. I put on JBA headers and want to have an exhaust system that would be clasified as low resistance. What are your suggestions?
Do they make a low resistance cat? What about the muffler? I see many mufflers on the market. Looking for one that would be a little bit noisier than stock but not sound like a motor cycle.
I'll post pictures when I have completed the swap.

High-flow Magnaflow cats and a Thrush glass-pack muffler. That will probably get you the best sound and flow-through.

If you pour some kerosene down the muffler before installing it if will "modify" the dampening properties of the insulation and give a throatier sound.
