okay, you might think im a damn retared, but im new to this and i wanna fix my truck up nice. My question is im looking at the flowmasters super 44, and I want to install it myself. can i just buy a exhaust sytem and put it in, and if so where do i find them.

Do you want to change your pipe diameter as well? how about exit location? Number of exits? You could always clamp a new muffler in place if the piping stays the same, but if you're looking to change the pipe size or routing, you'll either need to get a cat-back setup or take it to an exhaust shop (like I did) and have them make it to your specifications.

so basically, take it to a exhaust shop have them make it to specs, then I put it in myself? Im not to worried about adding another exit, I wanna keep it to a 2.25-2.50 pipe. but I want it coming out the back.

to save you time and money....i would let an exhaust shop do it for you.

I costed me $80 total for muffler, piping and hangers.....but that was a local individal

I agree with my buddy from N Georgia ^^^. Also, make sure they weld the connections.

Ya i always go to exhaust shop. It would be 10x easier if you had a lift like a shop does.
