my ranger's exaust system is rusted right out and ceases to exist. i'm trying to fix it up. i have other problems aswell, like.... everything i guess. i got new exaust for my comanche this year and it was about $2-500(my friend did it along with everything else) i forget the actual cost but i could deffinitely spend that money on spraypaint and tires.

i live in a place where vehicles dont get inspected either.

u could just put a strait pipe on it r a straight pipe and cherry bomb

Technically, if your vehicle came with a catalytic converter it MUST have it, even if you don't have inspections... It is a FEDERAL offense to remove it...

my cat is still mounted and thats where the system officially ends.

but i was wondering for backpressure stuff. i used to not care for the loud noise of my truck but then it was pretty sweet to ooo and aww my friends when they saw how wicked fast and powerful my quiet comanche was.

Many states also require that the exhaust system be free of leaks and that all exhaust must exit the vehicle in the rear, or out the side to the rear of the passenger cabin. So you may be stuck plumbing up a new exhaust system even if you don't care about the noise.

You don't need (or want) backpressure. That said, there are other issues introduced by having too an exhaust too large that cause many people to create that argument. All that aside... You should take the time to at least put in a basic, legal exhaust system. THIS is only $109 plus shipping (plus you get a $75 rebate) for a complete cat-back system.

so exaust is last on my list.

I'm pretty sure that rebate deal dies at the end of the month, so you might not want to wait that long. $50 for a complete cat-back system shipped is a great deal.

dang that is a sweet deal!
