everyday i get closer to scraping this truck


Im right near CO blvd and I-25 and always down to wheel.

Mike, you sure have bad luck with the explorers.
 
well i think this is just about the end for me. blew a freeze plug, replaced it, and it blew the same plug!! yes it was installed correctly. why cant i win? i fix one thing 6 other go wrong......
 
how can i tap this freeze plug in, i cant get a hammer in there to tap on a socket to get it to seat. i cant get a flush tap onto it

id let u but mine....well lets just say its spit 3 freeze plugs today, to of wich were new. one held 30 mins the other held less then a min and a half:sad:
 
when was the last time you changed the battery cables. they will drain a battery real fast if corroded thru
 
lol yeah i might not be able to eather, i got myne back togther today and the hubs were red hot after a quick trip, i think my bearings are shot =(....

well maybe in the next two weeks lol!

im having one of those nights my self with my truck, got one problem solved then bam another! sucks...

this seems to b a daily thing for mine:annoyed: ive been up all nite trying to get this fixed
 
There are freeze plugs available that have a bolt in the center that you tighten after inserting them. They have a neoprene o-ring and internal fingers which expand inside the block as the bolt is cranked. once installed they are not coming out plus they can be installed in tight places.
