hey everyone... here's a little bit of info

1999 Ford Ranger XLT Stepside 3.slow v6 5spd 2wd

Everytime i have the A/C or Max A/C on, i can hear somewear in the engine bay a small like ping/tick. sounds like its coming from the A/C compressor. i dont know what it would be. i was asuming either A. maybe need to recharge with freon or B. A/C Clutch could be wearing out?

Engine has original 65,1000 mils on it

Thanks,
James

if you dont wanna run it, just use the old 2WD40

that sounds like the normal engagement of the a/c clutch.. or are you talking about something more severe?
