My wife is slowly getting her strength back enough for me to ho back to work. Been 3 weeks off work and the bills are starting to add up. And my last paycheck was barely enough to fill the gas tank.

My priorities have changed and I don't see any more wheeling or wrench time for probably the rest of this year. I've been having the nuts come loose on the rod ends at the knuckle. I've tried a lock nut, a nylon locking nut, two nuts, two nuts with one locking nut and one regular, and locktite with a locking nut. No mater what I do they eventually work themselves loose. What should I try besides welding a tack on the nut?

I tacked mine to the knuckle. For your truck, since it is a DD, I would double nut it and tack the nuts together.
