Replace the bad bearing, when the other goes bad take it back and say it was the one you bought.

Working on the power steering pump bracket for the saginaw conversion, I got to a stopping point. So I decided to pull the d30 axle shafts to inspect the ujoints because I thought one was bad. Well both u-joints are in excellent condition.....but I have another shot wheel bearing. This one lasted almost a year. *sigh* at $90+ a piece, its getting very expensive.

Maybe I should think of upgrading from the 30 and get serviceable bearings and a spindle with manual lock outs....Dana 44 or higher? Yeah, I think so.

I know where you can pick up an EB 44. Im pretty sure it has worthless 3.xx gears in it, but the housing is and knuckles are there, shafts too if I remember right.
