How did you like the KM2s in the mud?

They do great in the mud, as long as it isn't to deep. Lol

Yeah, yeah...its hard to take pics when your stuck in a mud hole. My son had to crawl out the window and over the roof/hood to release the winch cable.

Reminds me of my youth.
Me:"Mom, why dont we have a dish washer?"
Mom: "Because I made 2 of them" (meaning my sister and I)

I cant wait til my kid is old enough to release the winch and lock the hubs haha

He kept telling me to go through the mud hole. So when I got hung up, I told him you climb out on top of the truck since you wanted me to go through it.

:D

Went shopping today at the pick a part.

Got this.....

It's in good shape, had no leaks. The oil on it is from the cut lines leaking all over it.

And then I found this.....

Hope it works, it came off a mid 90's Dakota.

Edit: got both for $43.

what rotors do you have to use w/ the WJ swap to keep your bolt pattern?

From what I have been reading, they just drill new holes in the WJ rotors.

Wj rotors redrilled to the new pattern. Some use sport trac rotors since they already have 5x4.5, but you have to grind or turn down the outside diameter of the unit bearings just slightly to fit. The amount needed to be taken off the hub/unit bearing is less than the thickness of a credit card.

When I get some money saved up, I am going back to the take a part. They have 8 WJ jeeps out there. All but are missing parts but I might be able to piece enough together for a whole swap. Will be cheaper than getting that JB high steer arm.

try to get the akebono calipers, the teves were recalled because their design tends to warp rotors

And here is the ram for the hydro assist. Not the ideal one but for what I paid for it with hoses and these fitting.... I can make it work.
