I am starting to get everything around to hook up the winch, new battery terminals and such...also getting wiring and whatnot to get the Hella's mounted also

My friend is busy with projects and customer projects so I kinda let him do his thing and when he is not busy with a rig in his shop, I slide in there and use his equipment. Its a slow process but it saves me from buying tools and stuff I would only use once.

His shop is smaller than my attached garage. Plus with the plasma table, welder, tube bender, etc.etc..... there is not much room for a rig to work on in there.

A little bit more done. All that is left is to make to two support bars, some tabs for lights, tab for a flag, and a d hoop at the top to hook the winch hook to.

Plate bumper would of been better, but I am trying to keep the weight as low as possible. The tube and winch will weigh more than the stock bumper. The d30 is almost at it weight limit as is.

I plan on having a v8, plate bumper, winch and something else on my D30. If its to much for it, then its off to a D44 of some kind.

adding a dring to the top for winch hook storage?

are you adding in a towpoint of somekind? my big mistake has allways build the winch bumper than figure in a tow point. i need to strart by focousing on winch placement (as I do) and then go straight to tow point before bumper design

his upper winch hookup w/ just be for hooking the winch line to...not for recovery.

do you have any plans on clevis mounts or anything for D-rings?? sometime or another you'll need to double your line back to your rig or hook someone else's winch to you....

like mine, i have a winch mount plus frame connected clevis mounts for D-rings.
